Ramban: DD, Commandant N. Ranbir Singh of 84 Bn CRPF today inaugurated the Chenab Open Air Sports Arena at the Tactical Headquarters in Boom Ramban.
The arena offers facilities for Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Long Jump, High Jump, Hand Walk, Parallel Bars and more, aimed at promoting physical fitness among CRPF personnel.
The event was attended by Second in Command Vikram Singh, A.K. Dixit, officers, personnel and media representatives.
Commandant Singh emphasized the importance of physical fitness in a combat force and praised the arena’s development, which was completed on a self-help basis with wholehearted contributions from personnel.
The 84 Bn CRPF already has two badminton courts, one lawn tennis court and a modern gym.
Exhibition matches in various sports were organized during the event, and prizes were distributed to participants, highlighting the unit’s commitment to fitness and sports excellence.DD
