CHISHOTI CLOUDBURST IN PADDER: 30 injured among six minors referred to GMC Jammu

Jammu: Atleast 30 pilgrims, who were injured in the devastating cloudburst in Chishoti village in Kishtwar on August 14, 2025, have been shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu overnight.


These people were referred from the District Hospital, Kishtwar for specialized treatment. The injured have been identified as Kailash Kohli (35), son of Krishan Lal, resident of Bantalab, Jammu; Mehvik Kohli (5), son of Kailash Kohli, resident of Bantalab Jammu, Sakshi (30), daughter of Des Raj, resident of Akhnoor; Rambans (70), son of Nihal Chand, resident of Paddar; Anu Devi (21), daughter of Naresh Kumar, resident of Drabshala, Kishtwar; Gehna (14), daughter of Ajay Kumar, resident of Lower Roop Nagar near Sai Pulli, Jammu; Nisha Devi (39), wife of Jewan Lal, resident of Maira Mandira, Akhnoor; Sanjeev Gupta (54), son of Kripa Ram, resident of 252 New Plot Jammu; Radhika Gupta (18), daughter of Sanjeev Gupta, resident of House Number 252 New Plot, Jammu; Sham Lal (45), son of Des Raj, resident of Udhampur; Shanu Devi (35), wife of Baneet Kumar, resident of Chanseri, Kishtwar; Atul Sharma (17), son of Bittu Ram, resident of Khugga number 4m Akhnoor; Tannu Sharma (19), daughter of Bittu Ram, resident of Khugga number 4 in Akhnoor; Krishan Lal (35), son of Munna Lal, resident of Kanpur; Sonam Devi (30), wife of Krishan Lal, resident of Kanpur (UP); Mehak Sharma (20), daughter of Sham Lal, resident of Udhampur; Preeti Devi (42), wife of Sham Lal, resident of Udhampur; Ashok Kumar (38), son of Buti Ram, resident of Sangwal in Vijaypur (Samba); Parveen Devi (35), wife of Ashok Kumar, resident of Sangwal in Vijaypur; Ayush Sharma (12), son of Baneet Sharma, resident of Mugal Maidan Chatroo, Kishtwar; Aditya (8), son of Baneet Kumar, resident of Chanseri in Kishtwar; Sumit Sharma (18), son of Mohan Lal, resident of Ramnagar, Udhampur at present Jewel in Jammu; Priyanshi (8), daughter of Gourav Arora, resident of Pandoka Colony in Paloura, Janipur; Pushpa Devi (53), wife of Ramesh Lal, resident of Ramnagar, Udhampur; Nisha Devi (34), wife of Pardeep Kumar, resident of Ramnagar in Udhampur; Pardeep Kumar (39), son of Hem Raj, resident of Ramnagar in Udhampur; Anu Devi (36), wife of Sumit Dogra, resident of Bari Brahmana, Samba; Aarav Dogra (7), son of Sumit Dogra, resident of Bari Brahmana, Samba; Anmit Dogra (8), son of Sumit Dogra, resident of Bari Brahmana, Samba; and Ankit Kumar (1.5 years minor), son of Pawan Kumar, resident of Assar Thanda Pani in Doda.
