Srinagar, (TDD): The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) today conducted coordinated raids at multiple locations across Jammu and Kashmir, seizing several digital devices, including mobile phones and tablets, during an ongoing investigation into a terror-related case.
Officials revealed that CIK teams searched various blocks and barracks of District Jail Anantnag and carried out simultaneous operations in Kulgam, Udhampur, and Jammu in collaboration with local police.
“Between 6 to 8 digital devices, including mobile phones and tablets, have been recovered so far. The raids were launched after technical evidence indicated suspicious activities inside the jail and at other identified locations,” an official said.
The seized devices are believed to hold critical evidence and are being analyzed to uncover links to terror activities. The operation marks a significant step in the authorities’ efforts to clamp down on terror networks operating both within detention centers and outside. (TDD)
