Multiple Flash Floods in Kishtwar

Ramban/Kishtwar: DD, Three persons have reportedly lost their lives, and two others have gone missing in a cloudburst that struck Ramban last night amid the incessant rains.
The cloudburst triggered flash, and mudslides causing the loss of three lives.
The rescue teams, including Indian Army have started their operations to trace the two missing persons.
The administration led by Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Ilyas Khan, along with the other officials has also reached the spot and monitoring the rescue operation.
Meanwhile, Kishtwar – Padder road has been completely washed away due to flashflood, early morning.
The above road was restored by the authorities, but the heavy rains triggered flash flood due to which road washed away.
Besides, Margi village has witnessed flash flood during the incessant rainfall. Further reports are awaited.
