Jammu: DD, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Tuesday today reviewed flood mitigation measures at Jammu in view of the incessant rains.
He directed the officers to remain high alert, and take all necessary measures. The situation in many parts of Jammu division is quite serious.
“I’ll be taking the next available flight from Srinagar to Jammu to personally monitor the developing situation,” Omar Abdullah informs through his social media account on X.
In the meantime, he has also instructed to place additional funds at disposal of the DCs to cover emergency restoration work and other exigencies.DD
