Srinagar,(DD): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has convened a high-level meeting of MLAs from the ruling alliance tomorrow morning in Srinagar, signaling important discussions within the government.
In an official notice, National Conference (NC) Chief Whip Mubarak Gul has directed all party MLAs to be present for the meeting, which will take place at 11:00 AM at the Deputy Chief Minister’s Fairview residence. The meeting is expected to witness participation from key leaders of the alliance.
While the agenda remains undisclosed, sources indicate that the government is deeply concerned about recent political and administrative developments in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting is likely to focus on the alliance’s strategy moving forward, governance challenges, and responses to emerging issues.
Political observers believe the discussions could also touch upon the opposition’s stance, legislative priorities, and potential electoral considerations, given the evolving political landscape in the region. The outcome of this meeting could shape the government’s approach in the coming weeks.(DD)
