CM Omar to Chair High-Level Development Review Meeting in Gulmarg on May 28

Srinagar, (DD):Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will chair a high-level review meeting in Gulmarg on Wednesday, 28 May 2025, at 12:00 PM, according to an official government order.

The meeting, to be held in the scenic hill station of Gulmarg, will be attended by key ministers, advisors, top bureaucrats, and heads of major departments and corporations, signifying its wide-ranging developmental and administrative scope.

As per the order, the following dignitaries and officers have been directed to attend:

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister

All Hon’ble Ministers

Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister

Chief Secretary, J&K

All Administrative Secretaries

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir

Inspector General of Police, Kashmir

In addition, heads and directors from major departments and corporations across Kashmir will participate, including:

Director, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens

Director, Sericulture

Director, Social Welfare

Director, Information

Director, Tourism, Kashmir

Director, School Education

Director, Urban Local Bodies

Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs

The meeting is expected to focus on tourism infrastructure, power distribution, welfare initiatives, and inter-departmental coordination in North Kashmir, with particular emphasis on Gulmarg as a key destination in the region.
