Jammu :TDD,Post Graduate Department of Ophthalmology, ASCOMS & Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu, organized a CME on Glaucoma on 30th November’ 2024 in college Auditorium to create awareness about Glaucoma which is a sneak thief of vision. This CME was held in collaboration with Glaucoma Society of INDIA.
Among the speakers were Dr. Dewang Angmo, Additional Professor, AIIMS, New Delhi ; Dr. Parul Icchpurjani, Prof. GMC, Chandigarh ; Dr. Shristi Raj, Prof. PGI Chandigarh ; Lt. Col. Dr. Menakshi Pathania, HOD Ophthalmology; Military Hospital, Satwari, Jammu & Dr. Renu Hashia Dhar, Professor & Head of Post Graduate department of Ophthalmology, ASCOMS & Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu. They all spoke on various aspects of Glaucoma diagnosis & management.
Dr. Pavan Malhotra, Director Principal, ASCOMS & Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Malhotra in his address spoke about Glaucoma awareness and appreciated the local organizing Committee members headed by organizing secretary Dr. Renu Hashia Dhar, Prof. & HOD, Ophthalmology, ASCOMS for their efforts in organizing this scientific event.
In addition to faculty & staff of ASCOMS, there were around 75 delegates from Jammu region who attended the CME. The guest of honors on the occasion were Dr. P. Sadhotra, Ex.
