Kishtwar ,DD:-ACD Kishtwar, Phulail Singh, JKAS, held a comprehensive review meeting today to assess the implementation of various schemes by the Rural Development Department (RDD) in Kishtwar. The meeting aimed to evaluate the progress, identify challenges, and streamline the implementation process to achieve the desired outcomes.
The meeting began with a warm welcome to the recently posted Block Development Officers (BDOs), who were congratulated on their new assignments. A block-wise review of schemes such as MGNREGA, PMAY, Capex, and others was conducted, with a focus on physical and financial progress, target achievements, and challenges faced. The meeting was attended by all BDOs and MIS operators, who actively participated in the discussions and presented their block-wise reports.
Phulail Singh, JKAS, emphasized the importance of effective implementation and monitoring of these schemes to achieve the desired outcomes. He instructed the officials to ensure timely payments, completion of works, closure of social audits, geotagging of assets, physical and financial completion of all works, and adherence to guidelines and norms. He also stressed the need for close monitoring, regular inspections, and prompt resolution of grievances.
The meeting concluded with a clear direction to the officials to work with renewed vigour and commitment to achieve the targets and goals set under the various schemes. The ACD Kishtwar assured full support and guidance to the officials in their endeavour to deliver quality services to the people.DD
