Poonch: DD, The Indian Army has been conducting a comprehensive Agniveer recruitment Training programme, wef 10 Apr 2025. As part of its ongoing endeavor, the Indian Army organized a mock PT test in Khanetar for aspiring candidates from Poonch District. This initiative focused on readiness for the upcoming Agniveer recruitment, aims to instill confidence, discipline and clarity among young aspirants.
The training programme includes structured physical training to assess basic fitness levels, followed by detailed modules covering the recruitment procedure, examination patterns and physical standards required for selection. The training also addressed prevalent myths and misconceptions regarding the Agniveer Scheme ensuring that the youth are well-informed and mentally prepared. With an enthusiastic response from the local community, this training initiative is proving to be a powerful platform for channeling the energy of the region’s youth towards nation-building and a proud future in the Indian Army.DD
