Congress Committee Probes Electoral Setback, fact finding Teams Visites Reasi-Udhampur Districts

Udhampur,TDD,A fact-finding team has been formed to examine the Congress party’s defeat and setback in the recent Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.
The Congress Fact finding team headed by Ravinder Sharma today visited district Reasi and Udhampur today and interacted with party candidates, leaders,district and block functionaries besides leaders of frontal wings.
Accompanied by the Team members including Ved Mahajan, Jahangir Mir,Naresh Gupta and Dina Nath Bhagat-,the committee held detailed deliberations with the contesting candidates of the party,senior leaders and other functionaries and grass root leaders of the party to know about the defeat of the party,despite large scale resentment against BJP’ over record unemployment,unprecedented price rise, heavy taxes and other anti people decisions of the centre and LG administration.
The party workers appreciated the initiative of the party to constitute Fact finding team of senior leaders to reach out the grass root party workers ,all over province .They shared their views and experiences of the elections and suggested way forward for strengthening the organization and to counter BJP’s propaganda.The workers expressed confidence that party is still strong as campared to last elections and can emerge futher stronger and counter BJP,if corrective measures are taken,as people have high hopes from Congress party which is only secular & demoratice force in the region.
They also highlighted the biased role of administration and facilitated the distribution of ration,liqour and money etc to influence the voters. BJP spent huge amount on campaign and elections to manage victory.
Prominent those present from Reasi district include Party candidated Bhupinder Singh,Mumtaz Khan Ex-MLA, Rajesh Sadotra,Rakesh Wazir Adv Vijay Sharma, Shoba Sharma,Abdul Rashid,Capt jeet Singh Jagdish Sharma ,Naresh Kumar,Karan Deep Singh & several others.
