Cooperatives Department Kargil Organises Celebration of International Year of Cooperatives 2025

Kargil, DD, The Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Kargil, in collaboration with the Fruit Growers Cooperative Processing & Marketing Society Ltd., Kargil, organized a commemorative event as part of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025. The programme was held at the society’s premises and focused on encouraging community participation and highlighting the strength of cooperative efforts in the region.

The event highligted the vital role of fruit growers in the local economy, demonstrating how cooperative models empower farmers by providing better market access, enhancing productivity, and ensuring fair trade practices. The society showcased a range of locally processed products, including apricot seed oil, berry juice, and fresh dried apricots, drawing enthusiastic visitors.
