Kishtwar, DD: In a major drive against wrongful parking, ARTO Tasleem Wani and MVI Rakesh Kumar, along with their enforcement team, took strict action against illegally parked vehicles on Islamia School Road and Wasserkund Road today.
The authorities e-challaned dozens of vehicles that were causing inconvenience to ambulances, schoolchildren, and the general public. Wrong parking has been a persistent issue, leading to traffic congestion and delays, especially for emergency services and students commuting to schools.
Speaking on the initiative, officials emphasized the need for responsible parking and warned of continued enforcement actions to ensure smooth traffic movement in Kishtwar.
