Udhampur,TDD,In a heartwarming display of celebration and environmental consciousness, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel stationed at the 137th Battalion Camp in Omara Morh, Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, came together to observe an eco-friendly Diwali.
Amidst their crucial duties of safeguarding the nation, the CRPF jawans and officers took a break to participate in the festival of lights in a sustainable manner. A large number of personnel formed a semi-circle within the camp premises, holding eco-friendly candles and sparklers, and chanting patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
The CRPF’s celebration of Diwali in an environmentally responsible way is a testament to their commitment to the well-being of the planet, even as they tirelessly work to ensure the security of the country. By choosing to use sustainable alternatives, the CRPF personnel have set an example for the community, showcasing how festivals can be observed in a more mindful and green manner.
The sight of the CRPF personnel coming together to mark the occasion of Diwali in this manner is a heartwarming reminder of the multifaceted roles played by the security forces.
