Cyber Cell solves online frauds in Jammu

Jammu:DD, In a major breakthrough against rising cyber frauds, the Cyber Cell, DPO Jammu, has successfully recovered an amount of ₹39, 52, 903 from online fraudsters.
The Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, a specialized unit dedicated to tackling cyber and financial frauds, continues to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and digital security of citizens.


The demonstrating high levels of efficiency and professionalism, the team has once again delivered significant results.
It is noteworthy that the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu received 2,092 complaints related to cyber frauds through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCR).
The total defrauded amount in these complaints stood at a staggering ₹11, 63, 02, 180.
Through coordinated efforts and timely action, the unit managed to: Put on hold a total of ₹ 2, 09, 23, 403.
The cyber cell recovered an amount of ₹ 39, 52, 903 from fraudsters and initiate the return to the rightful victims
The general public is advised to stay vigilant against online frauds and report suspicious activities immediately through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in).DD
