This significant recovery highlights the unit’s proactive approach in tackling the growing menace of cybercrimes, including mobile recharge scams, fraudulent app installations, and deceptive Telegram links targeting Aadhaar updates.
Since its establishment, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit Kishtwar has recovered a cumulative amount of ₹72,51,095 (Seventy-two lakh fifty-one thousand ninety-five), reflecting its unwavering commitment to protecting the citizens of Kishtwar against cyber threats.
