Independent MLA Sheikh Khursheed raises poster displaying slogans: restore article 370, release prisoners; BJP tries to tear apart same, Speaker adjourns House for 15 minutes

Srinagar, (TDD): The fourth day of the Legislative Assembly today witnessed ruckus and verbal clash between the Kashmir based opposition leaders and the BJP leaders over the Article 370 restoration and release of political prisoners’ issue.
The war of words started after independent MLA Sheikh Khursheed raised the poster displaying the restoration of Article 370 and release of political prisoners. This irked the BJP legislators, who reacted sharply raising slogans against the restoration of Article 370. Khursheed, however, got support from the Kashmir based legislators including Shabir Kullay, Rafiq Ahmed, Waheed ur Rehman Parra and Peoples Conference chief Sajad Gani Lone.
As the legislators refused to settle down, the Speaker LA, Abdur Rahim Rather adjourned the House for 15 minutes. The Kashmir based opposition leaders and the BJP MLAs continued to exchange heated words even as the Assembly was adjourned—(TDD)
