Kishtwar, DD, In a compassionate move to support families affected by road tragedies, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), today disbursed Rs. 3.75 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund. The disbursement was made following cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Wani (JKAS).
As part of the relief effort, Rs. 1 lakh each was granted to the legal heirs of three deceased road accident victims, while Rs. 75,000 was provided to a permanently disabled victim.
This government initiative reflects a firm commitment to supporting grieving families and easing their financial burden in times of distress.
The compensation was awarded to the families of the following victims:
Nandani Devi D/o Kewal Singh, R/o Chitto Paddar
Yasir Hussain S/o Mohammad Hussain, R/o Nagseni
Tahir Hussain S/o Ranjha, R/o Keshwan
Khifitullah S/o Mohd Hanief, R/o Chamoti (permanent disability)
