DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve chaired DLTC meeting, approves Scale of Finance for various sectors under KCC loans

Leh, TDD, The meeting of the District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) for the financial year 2024-25 was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve at the Conference Hall, DC Office Leh, today on December 3.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the uniform scale of finance for crops and allied activities grown in Leh District for the financial year 2025-26, which includes agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, poultry, fisheries, and others. The deliberations aimed to ensure equitable financial support for these critical sectors.

District Development Manager NABARD Leh Tsewang Dorjey led the meeting and proposed the scale of finance in all sectors. The committee headed by the Chairman approves Scale of Finance for various sectors under KCC loans and decided to increase the scale of finance for apple and apricot crops by 14%, while increasing the scale of finance for potato, barley, buckwheat, millets, fodder, walnut, grapes by 10% based on the inputs given by the stakeholders. Furthermore, an increase of 10% was also enhanced for Cross Breed Goats and Ladakh Pashmina Goats.

The meeting was attended by Chief Agriculture Officer, Leh (Secretary DLTC) and Members of DLTC including Chief Horticulture Officer Leh, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Leh, Assistant Director Fisheries Leh, DDM NABARD Leh, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Leh, Representatives of Farmer and various bank officers and officials.TDD
