RAJOURI,DD, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today visited the Government Post Graduate College Rajouri to inspect the facilities and review preparations for the upcoming Sports Festival.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed round of the college campus and inspected classrooms, the multipurpose conference hall, playground, and the botanical garden.
He also interacted with faculty members and students, encouraging them to actively contribute to enhancing the academic and co-curricular environment of the institution.
Reviewing the arrangements for the Sports Festival, the DC stressed the importance of promoting a vibrant sports culture to ensure holistic development of students.
The DC also reviewed the college’s ongoing academic initiatives and took stock of activities being carried out under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, stressing the need for consistent awareness programmes to keep students away from substance abuse.
