Meets cloudburst survivors in GMC Jammu, holds virtual interaction with victim families in Chishoti from Raj Bhawan

JAMMU:DD, Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh has returned back to New Delhi after his short visit to Jammu where he met the cloudburst survivors at Government Medical College, Jammu, and also interacted virtually with the victim families in Chishoti village, Kishtwar.
As per the officials, the Defence Minister was accompanied by LG J&K, Manoj Sinha and Union Minister, Dr Jatinder Singh to the GMC Jammu where met the survivors of the clourbrust in the hospital wards.
After meeting them, he went to the Raj Bhawan, Jammu, and held virtual interaction with the family members of Chishoti. Later, he discussed the ongoing rescue operation, and other related issues.
However, his visit to the Chishoti village was cancelled due to the inclement weather conditions. Hence, he flew back to New Delhi, as per the officials.DD
