Udhampur :TDD,Dense fog has coupled with a severe cold wave, completely disabling normal lives in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district. Residents have had to reorder their daily lives because the visibility in the region has been dramatically reduced due to the extreme weather conditions.
The district has been facing very thick fog specifically in the morning, which is dangerous to both road commuters and pedestrians. Authorities have guided the motorists to put on fog lights and reduce speeds to avert accidents. Visibility on big roads and highways has reached dangerous levels, prompting many people to postpone non-essential travel.
School going Students worat suffers due to dense fog. Local businesses especially on Dhar Road Udhampur are also feeling the impact, with many shops opening later than usual and closing earlier due to the limited customer movement.
Fog and a cold wave have become a challenge, especially for older people and people with respiratory disorders. Healthcare providers have advised residents to take extra care and avoid exposing themselves to such conditions unnecessarily.TDD
