Samba:-TDD ,The Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu, successfully organized an educational industrial visit for the students of M.com to Vasak Industries Pvt Ltd and Rudra Flour Mill, Samba. The event was flagged off under the patronage of Prof. K S Chandrasekar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu in the presence of Ankur Mahajan, Registrar and Dr. Vishal Sharma, Dean, School of Social Sciences.
The visit witnessed active participation from 45 students and faculty members, including Dr. Neetu Kumari (Coordinator), Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Karloopia, Dr. Parul Chhibber and Dr.Vaishali. The event provided an exceptional opportunity for students to gain valuable insights into the operations, supply chain management, production processes, and human resource practices of the industries.
During their visit, students gained knowledge covering a wide range of topics, offering a practical perspective on the strategic objectives, operational challenges and innovations. The professionals, Gurvinder Arora (Plant Manager of Vasak Industries Pvt. Ltd.) and Vishal Singh Charak (Owner of Rudra Flour Mill) guiding the tour addressed all student queries comprehensively, creating an engaging and educational experience.
