Department of Social Work, EJM College celebrates Indian Social Work Day

Leh: DD, The Department of Social Work, EJM College celebrated Indian Social Work Day today as a concluding event of the 6th National Social Work Week, 2025.
The event commenced with a presentation of the activity report by HOD/ State Coordinator NSWW Leh, Dr. Yangchan Dolma followed by a series of cultural performances by students of the department.


The concluding ceremony was graced by Prof. Stanzin Yangdol, Principal EJM College, Leh who addressed the gathering by saying that “Social Work is not just a subject to study but a way of life. It reminds us of our traditional way of life which is otherwise getting neglected these days”.
The highlight of the event was a dance performance by the students of Rewa Society, Leh.
The event was also attended by esteemed resource persons, faculty members and students from department departments of the college.DD
