Zanskar, DD, The Department of Zonal Physical Education, Zanskar successfully held the opening ceremony of Inter-School Tournament 2025 on Wednesday at the sport stadium near TRC Padum. Total no of 15 government and private schools are participating in the tournament.
During the opening ceremony, Zonal Education Planning Officer, Mr. Tsewang Dorjay was present as Chief Guest and various school incharge teachers also joined the opening ceremony programme.
Zonal Physical Education Officer Zanskar welcomed the guests and participants. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the tournament aims to promote sports at the block level and encourage maximum participation.
In his address, Mr. Tsewang Dorjay emphasized the importance of active participation in sports, stating that it is essential for building a healthy and vibrant society.
