Jammu: Nalin Parbhat – IPS, Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir, today visited the Crime Branch J&K at Jammu.
The officer was received by Sujit Kumar IPS, Inspector General of Police, Crime Branch/Security J&K and others officer of the Crime Branch J&K.
The DGP J&K Inspect all wings housed in the Crime Branch Complex and held a meeting which was attended by DIG Crime Branch J&K Abdul Qayoom – IPS, Joint Director Prosecution Laeeq Ahmed Dar, Mohd Fiesel Qureshi – JKPS SSP Crime Branch EOW Jammu, Mohd Yousif-JKPS SSP Fingerprint Bureau J&K, Ramnish Gupta-JKPS SSP CICE J&K, Mohd Anwal-ul-Haq-JKPS SSP ANTF J&K, SP Mohd Shafi-JKPS SO to IGP Crime J&K, Sanjay Parihar -JKPS SSP SCW Jammu and Noor-ul-Hassan -JKPS SP Fingerprint Bureau Jammu.
The DIG Crime Branch J&K Abdul Qayoom – IPS alongwith SSP Crime Branch EOW Kashmir Abdul Waheed Shah – JKPS and SSP Crime Branch SCW Kashmir Muzaffar Ahmed Shah-JKPS attended from Crime Headquarters Srinagar through VC.
At the outset the IGP Crime Branch welcomed the DGP J&K and a booklet titled “Cyber Shield” was released by the DGP J&K.
A PPT was presented by all the wings of the Crime Branch about the functioning and achievements of Crime Branch J&K in disposal of cases during the year 2025 which include both FIRs & complaints.
The DGP J&K appreciated the overall working of the Crime Branch and gave various directions for further efforts in disposal of cases and complaints and awarded officers of Crime Branch for outstanding performance during the year viz Dy.SP Vishal Sharma EOW Jammu, Dy.SP Albeena Malik CICE J&K, Dy.SP Bhagwan Dass SCW Jammu, Dy.SP Jagpal Sharma NAFIS, Inspr. Ashwani Kumar, Inspr. Sunita Handoo and Inspr. Gurnam Choudhary.
The DIG Crime Branch J&K, Abdul Qayoom-IPS, presented vote of thanks for the visit and directions imparted by the DGP J&K.DD
