Doda,(DD) Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat conducted a high-level review of the security scenario, law and order, anti-terrorist operations, and administrative preparedness during his visit to Bhadarwah in the Doda district.
The DGP was received by DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil, along with SSP Doda, SSP Kishtwar, and senior officers from the Central Armed Police Forces and the Indian Army.
A comprehensive security review meeting was held to assess the ongoing deployments related to the Amarnath Yatra and anti-terrorist operations in the twin districts of Doda and Kishtwar. DGP Prabhat praised the coordinated efforts of the civil and police administration in ensuring a peaceful and incident-free Yatra so far.
He emphasized the need to further strengthen the intelligence grid, enhance inter-agency coordination, and maintain a sharp operational focus to eliminate existing and newly infiltrated terrorist groups operating in the higher reaches of the region. He also stressed on dismantling the support network of anti-national elements and overground workers.
Welfare measures for police personnel and operational efficiency were also key points of discussion during the visit, which underlined the critical role of joint security mechanisms in maintaining peace and order in the region(DD)
