DIG DKR Range conducted surprise inspection of Police Station Gool, Ramban

Batote,DD: The DIG of Police, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range, Shridhar Patil IPS, along with SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh, Addl. SP Ramban, Gourav Mahajan, SDPO Gool, Kuldeep Raj, conducted a surprise visit and inspection of Police Station Gool in Ramban. During visit DIG of Police, assessed the existing security measures, law enforcement, deployment, and surveillance system to counter potential threats. The DIG emphasized upon the importance of maintaining accurate records, cleanliness, and conducive atmosphere at the Police Station. He also inspected Police Station records, malkhana, Kot, vehicles, barracks, lock-up and premises.During the visit, the DIG interacted with officers and staff and briefed them to remain polite with public and extra vigilant while on duty, considering the prevailing security environment. He instructed the SHO to ensure the Nakas remains actively engaged in checking and frisking and the in-charge beats shall activate their networks to gather intelligence and thwart threats from Anti-National Elements (ANEs). The DIG also stressed upon the importance of coordinating with security agencies to ensure peace in the area.DD
