JAMMU: DD, Today on 15.02.2025 Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS Dy. Inspector General of Police (DIG) Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range alongwith Sh. Brijesh Sharma-JKPS SP Rural, SDPO Nagrota and SHO Nagrota honoured Nazia Bibi, a 21 year old girl from Nagrota district Jammu who etched her name in history by becoming the first player from Jammu and Kashmir to selected for the Indian Women’s Kho Kho team. She will represent the country at the World Cup. Hailing from a modest background and tribal community.
DIG JSK Range stated that it’s a proud moment for J&K and whole India especially for women, youth should take inspiration from Nazia Bibi, beside studies students/youth also should take part in the sports and stay away from the drugs, negative forces and bad company and in the same way bring glory for their state and the country,
Dig JSK Range said that today’s women are not less than men in every field, Nazia is a big example of that, today she became role model of every girl. DIG JSK Range honoured Nazia Bibi with memento, bouquet and cash reward for appreciated her outstanding achievement and her big contribution in the World cup Kho Kho Team.

DIG JKS Range appreciated the Role his father for exemplary raisia Girl Child instead of so many difficulties. He has really become a role model in society , Girls can also shine and can bring Honour and Pride for family, n Country.
