Jammu :TDD, Dy. Inspector General of Police (DIG) Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS along-with SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, SO to DIG JSK Range Rajinder Singh Katoch SSP, SP Rural Jammu Birjesh Sharma, SP City South Jammu Ajay Sharma, President Team Jammu Zorawar Singh along-with other Police Officers/officials released a song on anti-drug awareness at Conference Hall DPL Jammu, sung and composed by Jammu and Kashmir Police official namely SPO Gourav Sharma, directed by K.K. Malhotra and presented by Jammu and Kashmir Police Parivar.
A programme started with anti-drug awareness videos by Range Police Hqrs. Jammu and later on, the song was composed by Gourav Sharma, which were watched and appreciated by all the police officers and media fraternity present there.
DIG JSK Range while addressing to media said that drug is a poison which destroys once life and we should stay away from drugs and guide others to stay away from it. He also guide about its bad effects in our life. He also stated that drug taken is a most common habit among youths these days. It is very important to sensitize our youth in every section of the society on the drug abuse. He also appreciated Gourav Sharma for composing a song on the theme Anti Drug Awareness and thanked President Team Jammu Zorawar Singh for supporting the official.
Gourav Sharma awarded with Cash Prize and momento from DIG JSK Range for his incredible performance showed in the song. Other Police officers were also honoured by DIG JSK Range for their outstanding performance for fighting against drug abuse. The programme was concluded with National Anthem.TDD
