Jammu,(DD):In preparation for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS), conducted a comprehensive security review of Saraswati Dham, Vaishnavi Dham, and Kalika Dham, which serve as key transit accommodations for pilgrims arriving at the Jammu Railway Station.
Accompanied by SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia and other officers, the DIG inspected the deployment of guards at all three dhams, enroute checking points, CCTV surveillance systems, and parking areas.
DIG Sharma issued detailed instructions to the SHO and other officers for ensuring foolproof security arrangements at and around the venues. Personnel deployed at the locations were also briefed regarding the sensitive nature of duties, and directed to maintain heightened alertness throughout their assignments.
Additionally, the review included strategies for managing the anticipated heavy influx of pilgrims, with a focus on traffic regulation, emergency response systems, and disaster management plans, particularly in regard to health-related incidents or other emergencies during the Yatra.
This review is part of a broader security preparedness effort to ensure a safe and seamless pilgrimage experience for thousands of devotees expected to participate in the annual religious event(DD)
