Jammu: DD, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Jammu – Samba – Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar IPS, conducted an unannounced security review in Jammu.
The visit aimed to assess the preparedness of local law enforcement and ensure robust security measures in Jewel Chowk, and Bus Stand area.
He met police personnel preforming their duties on ground. During his visit, SHO Nowabad, SHO Bus Stand, Dy.SP Headquarter Jammu also accompanied DIG.
The DIG JKS range also conducted piping ceremony newly promoted Sub inspectors in Gandhi Nagar Jammu along-with with SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, SP South Ajay, SSP Traffic Qureshi and SDPO Sunil Jasrotia.
A deputation of Muslim women from Bathindi, Chowadi, and Sunjwan area met with DIG JKS Range. These women submitted an application to the DIG JKS regarding cheating and fraud happened by Pvt Company on the name of government schemes. The DIG JKS assured them of strict action.DD
