District Disaster Management Authority issued this advisory in light of the severe weather disturbance, which is likely to impact Kargil District and its adjoining areas, especially the Zojila Pass and Penzila Pass. This disturbance in the weather system is expected to bring significant snowfall from 26th to 28th February 2025. These conditions may cause major disruptions and pose a risk to public safety.
