Leh: DD, A District-Level Science Seminar on the topic “Quantum Age Begins – Potentials and Challenges” was conducted on October 25, 2025, at DIET, Leh, with enthusiastic participation from students representing various schools across Leh district.
The seminar aimed to create awareness about rapidly emerging quantum technologies that are transforming fields such as computing, communication, cybersecurity, healthcare, and scientific research worldwide.
This initiative also sought to help students understand the skills and knowledge required to pursue careers in the upcoming Quantum Age.
Jigmet Yangchan of Government High School, Thiksay, secured the first position, while Tashi Ladol of Government Higher Secondary School, Saspol, won the second position.
