Kishtwar:DD, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shri Ramesh Kumar (IAS), today visited the sacred Machail Mata Darbar in Paddar Sub-division to review the existing facilities and developmental requirements at the revered shrine.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Naresh Singh (JKPS), and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Paddar, Dr. Amit Bhagat.
During the visit, the Divisional Commissioner inspected the shrine premises, reviewed arrangements related to pilgrim amenities, road connectivity, sanitation, and ongoing infrastructure works.
He also interacted with local officials and community representatives to assess developmental needs and ensure smooth access to the remote shrine area.
While emphasizing the importance of Machail Mata Darbar as a significant spiritual and tourism destination, Ramesh Kumar directed the concerned departments to expedite maintenance and improvement works, particularly along the approach roads and public facilities, before the next pilgrimage season.
The visit reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening religious tourism infrastructure and improving connectivity in the far-flung areas of District Kishtwar.DD
