Jammu :DD, A pilgrim bus slipped off the road and got stuck in a roadside ditch near Manda zoo in the Jagti area of Jammu on Saturday. The accident drew an instant response in the form of an emergency alert. Police , SDRF a soon launched an rescue effort at the spot, managing to evacuate several stranded passengers from the bus. Rescue services are already taking the injured pilgrims to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital for emergency treatment. The actual number of injured cannot yet be confirmed since rescue efforts continue. Authorities are still trying to help any other passengers who may have survived and determine what caused the accident.DD
