DOZENS INJURED IN UDHAMPUR MINI BUS MISHAP

UDHAMPUR : TDD,A major road accident occurred in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir here today in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur . A mini bus carrying Passengers and Students, skidded off the road and fell into a ditch near Shiv Mandir in Farna area of Salmari.
Around 30-35 passengers, including 20 nursing students from Government Medical College Balley in District Udhampur Injured.
The injured were promptly shifted to the Associated Hospital of Government Medical College Udhampur for immediate medical attention. While most of the injured are stable, three individuals are reported to be in critical condition. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.
Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai (IAS) confirmed the incident and stated that a detailed inquiry will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary investigations suggest that brake failure might have played a role.She added that our Priority is to give best to best treatments to the Injureds.
MLA Pawan Kumar Gupta expressed concern over the incident and assured that the injured will receive the best possible medical care. He has instructed the hospital staff to provide all necessary assistance.TDD
