Jammu:TDD, In a significant development for the University of Jammu, Dr. Neeraj Sharma has been appointed as the new Registrar. This appointment, along with those of Sanjeev Mahajan as Controller of Examinations and Dr. Jitender Khajuria as Finance Officer, marks a crucial step in strengthening the University’s administrative framework.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai expressed sincere gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his support in filling these key positions, which had been vacant for several years. These permanent appointments are expected to bring stability and efficiency to the University’s operations.
Prof. Rai also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing Registrar, Prof. Rahul Gupta, who has been assigned the additional responsibility of Rector, Bhaderwah Campus.
The University has been actively working to enhance its academic infrastructure, with recent sanctions of 19 new faculty positions and previous approvals for various teaching and non-teaching positions.
