Jammu :-TDD, Dr. Jai Prakash Verma, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu has been transferred to Regional Centre Lucknow as per the Order issued by Academic Coordination Division of the New Delhi Headquarters of IGNOU. Dr. Jai Prakash Verma stands relieved on 16.12.2024 from the Regional Centre Jammu.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, who is the senior most Academic at Regional Centre Jammu at present, has taken over the operations of the Regional Centre. Apart from the Regional Centre Jammu, Dr. Sandeep Gupta has already served in the New Delhi Headquarters of IGNOU in the Student Service Centre and also at the Regional Centre Srinagar and carries a varied experience in handling the student grievances and operations at the Regional Centres.
“We are right now in the midst of December 2024 Term-End Examinations which is one of the most important activities for the Regional Centre and it is our foremost priority to conduct the examinations smoothly in the region with the cooperation of our Centre Superintendents, Invigilation staff, local administration, postal authorities and other stakeholders of the University”, said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director.TDD
