Calicut,DD : Dr. Sarang Mohiley (Shree Swami Sarang), spiritual leader and Founder & Director of Shree Swami Sarang Global Peace Foundation based in Lucknow, paid a courtesy visit to the Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, at the Headquarters of Markazu Saquafathi Sunniyya, Calicut, Kerala.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed key issues related to promoting a peaceful and harmonious social environment. The importance of mutual respect and unity among different faiths for the progress of the nation was a central topic of discussion.
The visit was prompted by the Grand Mufti’s highly appreciated intervention in the case of Nimishapriya, a Malayali woman facing the death penalty in Yemen, whose execution was postponed due to his efforts.
Swami Sarang later expressed his reflections on social media, describing the meeting as a significant opportunity to honor a true messenger of humanity. He emphasized that the interaction was part of a collective endeavor to strengthen human solidarity and peace.DD
