Udhampur :DD- Police Team of Police Post Roundomai led by its IC PP while performing Patrolling/checking duty at Jaganoo-dalphar area intercepted one suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended by the police party.
On frisking of said apprehended person namely Waseem son of Abdul Rashid Resident of Jakhani, Udhampur. Police team recovered 6.52 grams of Heroin like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 29/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Udhampur.Further investigation of case is underway.DD
