Jammu:DD, The Directorate of School Education Jammu on Tuesday issued an order revising school timings for all Government and recognized private schools in the Jammu Division for the upcoming months.
As per order issued by DSEJ, schools in the Summer Zone will observe timings from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during October 2025. From November 1, 2025, the timing will change to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, except for schools within Jammu Municipal Corporation and surrounding urban areas, where timing will remain 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Schools in the Winter Zone of Jammu Division will follow timings from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting October 1, 2025.
The order warned that any deviation from the prescribed schedule will attract action against the institution under existing rules. (KNC)
