Jammu :DD, After being unanimously re-elected as president of the 120 year old secular social organization Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) former Minister Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, in consultation with newly elected General Secretary Sh. H C Jalmaria Adv. announced his other office bearers selected from the cream of distinguished personalities of Jammu region. In a lively intercourse the members briefly touched upon the historical journey of the 120 years and the major landmark achievements of the Sabha. The team resolved to dedicate themselves for the cause of Jammu and Duggar Pradesh as envisioned by the founder forefathers and on secular lines taking with them Dogras from all walks of life, regions, religions trades. The elected body and nominated members also represent a similar pattern.
Col Karan Singh (Retd) shall continue as Sr. Vice President of DSS, while Gambhir Dev Singh shall be Vice President in charge of Youth wing. Adv HC Jalmeria, Gen Secretary, G A Khwaja Addl. Gen. Secretary I/C Head Office, Arvinder Singh Amn Addi Gen Secretary, Narinder Singh Jamwal, Treasurer, Dr Nasib Singh Manhas, Convener Cultural Wing, Jagdeep Singh, Secretary Organisation, Brig VS Dheman has been assigned IT, Social Media & Library, Amanat Ali Shah, Jt Secretary Org, Khajur Singh, Jt Secretary I/C Panchayat/ Numberdar and Chowkidar Cell, Prof. Dr Anita Billawaria Convener Mahila Wing with Uma Katal & Prof. Sonia Jasrotia, Maj Gen Sunita Kapoor, VSM (Retd) Convener Ex-servicemen Cell, Co- Convener Col Dr. Virendra K Sahi, VrC (Retd) & Lt.Col Rashid Ahmed (Retd.). Brig MS Jamwal, (Retd) Convener media Cell with Co- convener Col Dr Virendra K Sahi, VrC & Gambhir Dev Singh. Besides that there is Bhawan Development Committee assigned to Col Karan Singh, Narinder Singh Jamwal, Chhankar Singh & Er Surinder Kumar. Teachers Cell – Devinder Singh, Sumesh Damral & Sukhdev Singh, Youth wing Convener Adv Ashtam Siddiqui. The Numberdar and Chowkidar Cell includes, Convener Capt Sardar Singh (Nud) Co-convener Raj Kumar (Hiranager) Rajkumar & Shankar Singh (Gran Morh- Reasi).
All the old & new members assured their full solidarity and voluntary willing desire to fully dedicate themselves to carry forward the noble aims and aspirations of the Sabha as per the charter and constitution of the DSS.DD
