Kishtwar, DD: DySP Traffic Sarabjeet Singh led a Naka-cum-awareness drive at Banderkoot, Kishtwar, aimed at enforcing traffic regulations and educating commuters on road safety.
During the drive, vehicles were checked for compliance with traffic rules, including overloading, valid documentation, and proper safety measures. At the same time, passengers and drivers were sensitized about the importance of road discipline, wearing seat belts, avoiding overloading, and following speed limits.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the Traffic Police Department to enhance road safety and minimize accidents in the region. Commuters were urged to strictly adhere to traffic norms to ensure a safe and smooth transportation system.
