KISHTWAR:DD, An encounter today broke out between the terrorists, and the security forces in the higher reaches of Dachan in Kishtwar District, as per the initial reports.
The reports claim that the security forces including Indian Army, J&K Police, and paramilitary launched a joint search operation following credible intelligence input about the movement of the terrorists in the forests of Dachan.
During the searches, the reports claim that “The hiding terrorists opened fire towards the security forces, leading to heavy exchange of fire.”
Immediately, the additional security forces have been rushed to the area, and the cordon has been tightened. Further details are awaited. Till the filing of this report, the encounter continued.DD
