Encounter breaks out in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR,TDD: An encounter broke out between a group of terrorists and security forces in Chatroo in Kishtwar District on Saturday evening.
“A contact was established with the terrorists by Indian Army and Police near Danna-Dhar Forest area, upper reaches of Gurinal village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chhatroo, District Kishtwar,” said the sources.
They said that the area was cordoned off and gun shots were exchanged between the terrorists and the security forces. Further details are awaited.
The searches were being conducted in the area to zero-in the terrorists. TDD
