Rajouri: DD, The Indian Army conducted an Ex-Servicemen Meet at Kalal, District Rajouri, highlighting its commitment to the welfare of veterans.
The key highlights of the event included interaction with ex-servicemen, discussion of issues faced by retired Soldiers and their families and a focus on essential facilities crucial for their well-being.
The event brought together over 32 ex-servicemen and served as a platform to address grievances and disseminate information about various welfare schemes.
An assistance booth was established to resolve queries and provide guidance on accessing benefits such as the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) and Canteen Stores Department (CSD) related issues.
The event also emphasized that such initiatives strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and its ex-servicemen, ensuring their welfare and honouring their legacy.
