Leh, February 20,DD: Hon’ble Executive Councillor Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, LAHDC Leh, attended the inaugural function of a plumbing and electrical training program at the Leh Nutrition Project campus as the chief guest and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Stanzin Rabgais and Axis Bank Manager Sh. Sami-ul-Lasu as guests of honor.Supported by Axis Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the month-long training program aims to equip 50 participants with essential plumbing skills and 25 participants with electrical work expertise.During the event, EC Yakzee expressed his gratitude to the Leh Nutrition Project, headed by Sh. Chotak Gyatso, Executive Director, and Axis Bank for promoting sustainable livelihood projects. He highlighted the vast opportunities available to Ladakh’s youth in sectors such as dairy, plumbing, electrical work, leather production, and more.Additionally, EC Yakzee and the guests distributed 400 bags of cattle feed to launch the “Milk Belt” initiative in Leh district. The event also saw the participation of various Nambardars from the Leh area. DD
