Leh: DD, Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was called on by executive members of religious organizations of the Muslim community.
The delegation was led by Hajj Committee member Haji Nazir Ahmed, along with Executive Member of Anjuman Noorbaksh, Haji Shamsher Ali; Naib Imam of Jama Masjid Leh, Anayat Ali; and Ex-Member of Anjuman Imamia Leh, Amjad Hussain Zubdavi.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed gratitude for the establishment of the Haj Committee in Ladakh following the Union Territory status and highlighted the community’s longstanding request for a Haj House in Leh along with a branch office for the Haj Committee.
They stated that this initiative will help facilitate Haj pilgrimage for the Muslim community across Ladakh more efficiently.
CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson assured the delegation that the matter would be discuss with the concerned authorities.DD
