‘Dies of brain stroke in Mohali’

AMRITSAR: DD, Famous Punjabi Comedian – Actor, Jaswinder Bhalla has passed away due to illness in Fortis Hospital, Mohali in Punjab State.
He was 65. He was known for his humorous roles and brilliant acting skills in the Punjabi entertainment industry with his roles as Adv. Dhillan in Carry On Jatta.
The friends of Bhalla have cited ‘brain stroke’ as the cause of his death.
He suffered a brain stroke on Wednesday, and then, he was admitted in the Mohali’s Fortis hospital for treatment where he passed away due to the serious health conditions.
“The doctors did every possible effort to save his life,” the friends told one of the media houses.
His last rites, according to them, will be performed on August 23 at Balongi cremation ground, Mohali.(Agencies)
